Old Town Saginaw Easter Egg Hunt

The bunny sculptures, which appear in Old Town Saginaw every year, are a sure sign of spring and serve as a colorful backdrop for the annual Old Town Easter Egg Hunt.

The largest hunt in the state features several hundred children who collect more than 30,000 candy-filled eggs. April 19, 2025.

Holidays in the Heart of the City

Holidays in the Heart of the City is every November. Featuring free Christmas Concerts, Horse-Drawn wagon rides, open houses at many venues including the Zoo, Andersen Enrichment Center, Japanese Tea House, The Montague Inn and the Mexican American Council. Free pony rides, food vendors and more.

Lighting

The Old Town Saginaw Association brings festive ambiance and lighting in Old Town every year. Volunteers hang lighted garland down Hamilton and Court Streets.

With snowflakes from the Saginaw Downtown Development Authority, we light it up begining in late November and into the New Year

Lawn Chair Film Festival

This free outdoor film festival takes place Sunday evenings in July and August at the corner of Ames and North Hamilton. Beginning 2025, movies will start at 7 PM preceeded by a variety of entertainment and food vendors. Bring your own chair and enjoy!

Counter Cruise

A friendly gathering of folks to ride bicycles across the city of Saginaw that usually begins and ends in Old Town Saginaw. It is a series of events to help meet people who share the love of bikes as well as our city! It is a fun and healthy way for citizens to visit with neighbors and neighborhoods throughout the city.
